NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH
STATE OF HAWAII
DOCKET NO. R-8-07
Pursuant to sections 91-3 and 92-41, Hawaii Revised Statutes (HRS), the Department of Health will receive written comments and hold a public hearing to receive testimony on its adoption of proposed Chapter 11-79 Licensure of Dietitians.
The subjects and purposes of the requirements made by the adoption of Chapter 11-79 are to:
1. Define the licensing process, the establishment and collection of fees, and
procedures for denial, revocation and suspension of licensure;
2. Establish the Dietitian Special Fund for collection of fees and fines;
3. Identify the Code of Ethics; and
4. Provide for enforcement action for violation of HRS 448B.
All interested persons shall be afforded an opportunity to submit testimony orally or in writing at the time of the hearing. Any persons desiring to give written testimony are asked to submit two (2) copies of their testimony at the hearing, or before the hearing at the address below. Written testimony will be accepted until close of business on
November 15, 2007 at the:
