Certificate of Need

The Agency has received a request for a public information meeting on the following certificate of need application pursuant to Section 323D-44.5, Hawaii Revised Statues: Certificate of Need Application #07-19A for administrative review from CARE Hawaii, Inc. for the for the relocation of 16 Special Treatment Facility (STF) beds from Hawaii State Hospital grounds, TMK (1) 4-5-23:02 to 110 Kaneohe Bay Drive, Kailua, Hawaii, at a capital cost of $126,495.
The meeting will be held on September 4, 2007, 1:30 p.m., at 235 South Beretania Street (State Office Tower/Leiopapa A Kamehameha), Room 204, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Certificate applications are reviewed according to the following criteria: relation to the state health services and facilities plan, need and accessibility, quality, cost and finances, relation to the existing health care system, and availability of resources.
