Performs analyses for the Food Emergency Response Network Laboratory under the Laboratory Emergency Response Program. Integral part of a national preparedness effort to enhance core capabilities of state public heath laboratories to respond to incidents of suspected bioterrorism attacks, outbreaks involving new or emerging infectious disease agents & other public health emergencies. Temporary position.

Req. bachelor’s deg. in microbiology, bacteriology, biology or chemistry including prescribed coursework (refer to website, address below). No exp. for level II. 1 yr. of professional microbiology exp. for level III. Appropriate substitutions allowed.
