PLANNING PROGRAM COORDINATOR

SALARY:
Starting at $4,447 per month. All State of Hawaii Fringe Benefits

DUTIES: Coordinate the development, maintenance, reporting, and monitoring of various transportation programs, planning, and fiscal efforts required under Federal metropolitan transportation planning rules. Coordinate the update and maintenance of the 25-year regional transportation plan for the island of Oahu. Identify planning priorities for the OahuMPO; and manage efforts to obtain federal funding for transportation planning activities through the development of the Overall Work Program. Participate in meetings with State and City government agencies, stakeholders, and the public. Serve as project manager for various programs, projects, and studies. Prepare scopes of work, financial plans, schedules, contracts, and agreements. Manage consultants, write reports, and perform other duties as assigned.

TRANSPORTATION PLANNER

SALARY:
Starting at $4,112 per month. All State of Hawaii Fringe Benefits

DUTIES: Serve as project manager for various programs, projects, and studies. Monitor and update the OahuMPO’s Title VI and Environmental Justice program using geographic information system (GIS) software. Evaluate the OahuMPO’s plans and programs based on the principles of Title VI and Environmental Justice. Maintain and update the Transportation Improvement Program database. Manage consultants, write reports, produce GIS-based maps, and perform other duties as assigned. Attention to detail is a must.
