HIPAA INFORMATION &
TECHNOLOGY SECURITY OFFICER

Salary commensurate with experience

Develops and coordinates departmental policies/activities under the Security Rule of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). Knowledge and experience in health industry compliance, health information access, and access control technologies required. Strong background in information security technology (program analysis, development, testing), project management, and information technologies necessary. Experience in developing and implementing training programs and materials preferred. College degree in information technology desirable. Non civil service (exempt) position.
