The State of Hawaii, Department of Transportation, Airports Division, invites public and planning agencies, aeronautical users, and the general public to a meeting for the Lihue Airport Noise Compatibility Program (NCP) update. The meeting will be conducted on:

Location: King Kaumualii Elementary School Cafeteria 4380 Hanamaulu Road

The NCP is a nationwide program developed in order to evaluate the noise impact created by the operation of an airport. The program brings together all interested parties to facilitate an agreed upon noise abatement plan especially suited to the individual airport location while at the same time not unduly affecting the national air transportation system.
