Certificate of Need

The Agency has received a request for a public information meeting on the following certificate of need application pursuant to Section 323D-44.5, Hawaii Revised Statues: #05-19A from Bio-Medical Applications of California, Inc. for the establishment of dialysis services (24 station hemodialysis and 2 peritoneal) at 750 Palani Avenue, Honolulu, Hawaii, at a capital cost of $3,495,716.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2006, 10:00 a.m. at 1177 Alakea Street, Room 401, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Certificate applications are reviewed according to the following criteria: relation to the state health services and facilities plan, need and accessibility, quality, cost and finances, relation to the existing health care system, and availability of resources.
