NOTICE OF SEIZURE AND INTENT TO FORFEIT
In accordance with the provisions of Section 607 of the Tariff Act of 1930 as amended (19 U.S.C. 1607), notice is hereby given of the seizure and intent to forfeit and dispose of the following described property:
2006-3203-000007-01, 03-09-06, $30,632.00 U.S. Dollars, 18 USC 981(a)(1)(C), 18 USC 1956; 2006-3203-000009-01, 03-09-06, $2,321.00 U.S. Dollars, 18 USC 981(a)(1)(C), 18 USC 1956; 2006-3201-000046-01, 03-10-06, $7,820.00 U.S. Dollars, 18 USC 981(a)(1)(C), 18 USC 1956, 2005-3201-000072-01, 04-01-05, $25,900.00 in U.S. Dollars, 18 USC 981 (a)(1)(C); 18 USC 1956; 2005-3201-000074-01, 04-06-05, $5,042.87 in U.S. Dollars, 18 USC 981 (a)(1)(C), 18 USC 1956.
The above-described property was seized at the Port of Honolulu, Hawaii for violation of the cited provisions which are administered under the Civil Asset Forfeiture Reform Act of 2000. Any person involved in the above violations desiring to claim any of the property must appear at the Office of the Port Director of Customs and Border Protection, 300 Ala Moana Boulevard, Room 2-267, Honolulu, Hawaii, and file with the Fines, Penalties and Forfeitures (FP&F) Officer within twenty (20) days from the date of first publication of this notice, a claim to such property. Upon the filing of a claim, Customs and Border Protection will immediately refer the property to the United States Attorneys office for the commencement of judicial forfeiture proceedings.
