Requirements: (1) A comb. of educ. & exper. subst. equiv. to grad. from an accred. college/univ. w/a bachelor’s degree in rec., phis. educ. or a related field¹ & 3 yrs. of prof. level rec. exper., 1 of which shall have incl. significant invlmt. in the spec. area. (2)² (3) Poss. of ARC Comm. 1st Aid & Safety cert., HHA or ARC CPR cert., & ARC Lifegd. Trng. cert. Instr. cert., & ARC WSI cert. (All certs. must be maint. on a curr. basis thereafter.) Effective immediately, HI State residency requirement has been waived.
