NOTICE TO BIDDERS
BID FORMS for IFB No. 07-106, with plans, Duke Kahanamoku Pool, Upgrade Pole Lighting, will be available from and received in the OFFICE OF PROCUREMENT AND REAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT (OPRPM), UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII, 1400 LOWER CAMPUS ROAD, ROOM 15, HONOLULU, HAWAII 96822.
Written notice of intention to bid is due in OPRPM by 4:30 p.m., April 13, 2007. Intention to bid via FAX (808) 956-2093 is acceptable.
Due to conditions at the site that may not be clearly identified in technical specifications and plans, it is highly recommended that all bidders attend a pre-bid conference/job site walk-through at 9:30 a.m., April 3, 2007, at the Ed Wong Hospitality Suite at the Stan Sheriff Center, 1337 Lower Campus Road, Honolulu. Bidders must purchase a Gate Ticket ($3.00) and park in the Parking Structure, Zone 20 for this pre-bid conference. Bidders are to display the visitor parking ticket on their dashboard in plain view for parking guards.
Requests for Substitution/Clarification must be submitted to the Technical Representative, Mark Nishimoto, no later than 4:00 p.m., April 10, 2007.
Bids must be submitted no later than 2:30 p.m., April 24, 2007.
The project in general shall consist of replacing the existing floodlights, mounting assemblies, light poles, light pole cages, concrete footings and electric panels, wiring; removal and reinstallation of existing public address speakers; removal of bleacher lighting; removal and reinstallation of chain link fencing including new fencing and foundation; grading; use of crane, complete.
To be eligible to bid, bidders must possess a valid State of Hawaii contractor\u2019s license A or C-13. BIDS FROM CONTRACTORS NOT LICENSED IN THE STATE OF HAWAII WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
Bids received after the due time and date(s) fixed above will not be considered.
