SOLICITATION FOR INTERESTED PARTIES
TO PROVIDE CONSTRUCTION WORK, GOODS,
SERVICES OR REAL PROPERTY TO CREATE
HOMELESS SHELTERS FOR LEEWARD OAHU
The State of Hawaii is soliciting interested parties for the development for secure, safe, and sanitary homeless shelters for Leeward Oahu. This includes development proposals, partnerships, ideas, solutions and concepts to address this need. It may also include any parties willing to donate support (examples of which may include, but are not limited to financial support, construction, materials, services, equipment, real property, building, etc.).
The scope of this solicitation includes, but is not limited to the identification of interested parties and how they are willing o participate with the Sate in the development of homeless shelters for Leeward Oahu. Developments may include new construction or renovation work on government-owned or privately-owned properties. The goal is to have a substantial number of shelters completed by December 31, 2006, and have work on other shelters underway.
Interested parties may be any individual, developer, property owner, non-profit organization, trust company, foundation, service organization, faith-based organization, construction contractor, equipment supplier, material supplier, design consultant firm, etc.
The following information should be provided:
1. General contact information should include: name,
title or position (if applicable), mailing address,
telephone number, facsimile (i.e.,FAX) number, or
email address (if available)
2. General description and quantity of what is pro-
posed, or donated and its estimated value.

Responses to this solicitation, by themselves, do not create a contract with the State. Any contract will be the result of further negotiations and mutual agreement.
