NOTICE TO BIDDERS
BID FORMS AND PLANS for IFB No. CCR-154314, Renovations to Improve Campus Facilities, Title III Facilities Renovation, Phase 1 – Science Laboratory Renovations will be available at the University of Hawaii, Community Colleges, Facilities and Environmental Health, 2010 East-West Road, Honolulu, Hawaii 96822 (rear of and adjacent to the UH Federal Credit Union).
Due to site conditions that may not be clearly identified in the technical specifications and plans, it is highly recommended all bidders attend the PRE-BID CONFERENCE/JOB SITE WALK THROUGH at 10:30 a.m., July 7, 2017 (Friday) at Leeward Community College, General Technology Building (GT Bldg), Room GT 205.
The project shall, in general, consist of but not limited to selective demolition, State vermin vector control, miscellaneous metal fabrications, treated rough carpentry, premanufactured modular cabinets, existing roofing and flashing restoration, building insulation, fire stopping, joint sealers, hollow metal door and frames, hardware, metal support assemblies, gypsum board, acoustical ceilings, painting work, visual display boards, identifying devices, operable partitions, hazardous material remediation, mechanical and electrical work. Contractor shall visit the job site and make certain that he understands the extent of the work and existing conditions before he submits a formal bid.
To be eligible to bid, bidders must possess a valid State of Hawai’i Contractor’s License B.
Requests for Substitution/Clarification must be submitted via email to the Technical Representative, Shawn Kodani at kodani@hawaii.edu no later than July 19 , 2017 (Wednesday) at 4:00p.m., Hawai’i Standard Time.
Bids must be submitted no later than August 4, 2017 (Friday) at 2:00p.m., Hawai’i Standard Time to the following address:
