Observatory Manager (#0081274T)

The Institute for Astronomy (IfA), University of Hawaii at Manoa, is seeking an Observatory Manager for the NASA Infrared Telescope Facility (IRTF) on Maunakea. A vocational degree in electronics, mechanics or related field and 7 years of progressively responsible professional experience, or equivalent, is required. The appointed person will be located in Hilo and work at the 14,000 feet summit. Duties include: supervising observatory day crew and maintaining efficient operation of the telescope.
