PUBLIC NOTICE CORRECTION
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) AND
HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIPS (HOME) PROGRAM FUNDS

On April 27, 2017, the City and County of Honolulu (City), published a Public Notice in the Honolulu Star-Advertiser proposing to reprogram CDBG and HOME funds from prior and current year projects and appropriate the funds to Fiscal Year 2017 acquisition and financial assistance projects that can utilize the funds immediately, in order to achieve CDBG and HOME program goals more efficiently and expediently. The City is issuing a correction to the Public Notice to identify an additional CDBG property acquisition project, in addition to the Nanakuli Hawaiian Homestead Community Association’s Improvements to Farrington Highway Project and the City’s Down Payment Loan Program. This correction allows the City to reprogram CDBG funds to property acquisition project(s) from among the properties identified below.

NEW AWARD OF $4,802,842
City and County of Honolulu – 1841 A Palolo Avenue
Project Description: The City will utilize up to $4,802,842 in CDBG funds to acquire a property, located in Palolo, which will provide affordable housing to low- and moderate income households. The City proposes to acquire the property in fee simple, then convey the property on a lease or operating license basis to an agency that will oversee the management and operation of the property.

The City proposes to acquire the property in fee simple, then convey the property on a lease or operating license basis to an agency that will oversee the management and operation of the property.

The City proposes to acquire the property in fee simple, then convey the property on a lease or operating license basis to an agency that will oversee the management and operation of the property.
