NOTICE FOR LOTTERIES FOR
PUBLICATION DISPENSING RACK SPACES
THROUGHOUT THE WAIKIKI SPECIAL DISTRICT

In accordance with the Revised Ordinances of Honolulu, the Department of Customer Services will be conducting lotteries for the publication dispensing rack spaces throughout the Waikiki Special District. The lotteries will be held as follows:

9:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. – Sign-in
(Publishers must check in by 9:30 a.m. to participate in the lottery.)
9:30 a.m. – Lottery begins

12-INCH SPACE LOTTERY:
Wednesday, May 24, 2017
Location: Neal S. Blaisdell Center
Hawaii Suites
777 Ward Avenue
Honolulu, Hawaii 96814
8:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. – Sign-in
(Publishers must check in by 9:00 p.m. to participate in the lottery.)
9:00 p.m. – Lottery begins

Spaces in all of the publication dispensing rack enclosures will be offered at these lotteries. Permits will be valid from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2020.

IMPORTANT: In order to participate in the lottery, all publishers or interested persons are required to register by completing and submitting an application form, required supporting documents, and the $50.00 non-refundable application fee for each publication postmarked no later than May 12, 2017. Applications that are postmarked after May 12, 2017 will be returned and the applicant will not be allowed to participate in this supplemental lottery. Registration will not be allowed on the day of the lottery. Each applicant must declare on the application form whether they will participate in the 12-inch or 24-inch space lottery, but not both.
