NOTICE OF PROPOSED REAL PROPERTY FORECLOSURE SALE
DATE OF SALE JUNE 14 & 15 (IF NECESSARY), 2017
Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 19, Article 5, Sections 19-37 through 19-45 of the Hawai’i County Code, 109 properties will be offered for sale at a public auction on Wednesday, June 14 and Thursday, January 15 (if necessary), 2017. The auction will be held at Aunty Sally Kaleohano’s Lu’au Hale, 799 Pi’ilani Street, Hilo, Hawai’i beginning at 9:00 A.M.
A list of properties to be offered for sale will be posted at the County Building (25 Aupuni Street, Hilo), the State Building (75 Aupuni Street, Hilo), the Hilo Real Property Tax Division (Aupuni Center, 101 Pauahi Street, Suite 4, Hilo), and at the Kona Real Property Tax Division (West Hawai’i Civic Center, 74-5044 Ane Keohokalole Highway, Building D, 2nd Floor, Kailua-Kona). The list of properties may be reviewed upon request at the Main Post Office (Hilo Airport). Also, the list is posted at the County of Hawai’i web site at http://www.hawaiicounty.gov/finance-real-property-tax/
You may also obtain a list of properties to be offered for sale at either the County Real Property Tax Division located at Aupuni Center, 101 Pauahi Street, Suite 4, Hilo, Hawai’i, or at the West Hawai’i Civic Center, 74-5044 Ane Keohokalole Highway, Building D, 2nd Floor, Kailua-Kona, Hawai’i. A fee will be charged to obtain copies of the tax sale list, title reports, and/or inspection reports. To obtain information, you must inquire in person.
