Traffic Schedule No. 2017-3
TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (ROH), AS AMENDED, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU, HEREBY ESTABLISHES TRAFFIC SCHEDULE NO. 2017-3 TO AMEND SCHEDULE I OF SECTION 15-6.2(a) ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC SIGNALS (CITY); SCHEDULE V OF SECTION 15-7.2(b)(3) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–25 MPH; SCHEDULE XIV OF SECTION 15-11.3 ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTIONS; SCHEDULE XXI OF SECTION 15-13.9(a)(8) ESTABLISHING TOW ZONES–SPECIFIED TIMES; SCHEDULE XXII OF SECTION 15-14.5(a) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED PARKING CERTAIN AREAS; SCHEDULE XXIII OF SECTION 15-14.5(b) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED LOADING/UNLOADING; SCHEDULE XXV OF SECTION 15-15.3(d) ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL BUS STOPS; SCHEDULE XXXVIII OF SECTION 15-24.17 ESTABLISHING MISCELLANEOUS TRAFFIC CONTROLS.
Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:
a. By amending Schedule V of Sec. 15-7.2(b)(3) establishing speed limit–25 mph by adding thereto the following items:
“Iho Pl., for its entire length.”
“Iliwai Dr., for its entire length.”
b. By amending Schedule XIV of Sec. 15-11.3 establishing stop intersections by adding thereto the following item:
“Iliwai Dr-California Ave. Traffic on Iliwai Dr. shall stop before entering California Ave.”
b. By amending Schedule XXI of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(8) establishing tow zones specified times by adding thereto the following item:
“Iwilei Rd., makai side, between Sumner and Kuwili Sts., 12:00 to 5:00 a.m., daily except holidays.”
c. By amending Schedule XXII of Sec. 15-14.5(a) establishing prohibited parking certain areas in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following items:
“Kaahele St., Ewa side, distance 250’ makai direction from a point 20’ makai of the mauka curb prolongation of Kilinoe St.”
“Kaahele St., Ewa side, distance 90’ makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of Komo Mai Dr.”
“Kaahele St., Koko Head side, from Moanalua Rd. to a point 350’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Lulu St., except for portion covered under Schedule 25.”
“Kaahele St., Koko Head side, from a point 510’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Lulu St. to a point 520’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Komo Mai Dr., except for portion covered under Schedule 25.”
“Kupuohi Pl., southern side, distance 60’ easterly direction from the southeastern curb prolongation of Kupuohi St.”
“Lipoa Pl., (Ewa turnaround area), mauka side, distance 100’ Ewa direction from a point 165’ Ewa of the Ewa curb prolongation of Lipoa Pl.”
“Lipoa Pl., (Ewa turnaround area), makai side, distance 100’ Ewa direction from a point 165’ Ewa of the Ewa curb prolongation of Lipoa Pl.”
“Lipoa Pl., within its Koko Head turnaround area.”
“St. Louis Dr., even-numbered side (2400 block), between Noah and Bertram Sts.”
2. By amending thereto the following items:
Iliwai Dr., both sides, between 357 and California Ave. and from 114 Iliwai Dr. to Manua St., 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., school days; to read:
“Iliwai Dr., both sides, between 357 Iliwai Dr. and California Ave. and between 134 Iliwai Dr. and Manua St., 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., school days.”
Kaahele St., Ewa side, distance approximately 120’ mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Komo Mai Dr.; to read:
“Kaahele St., Ewa side, distance 220’ mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Komo Mai Dr.”
Lipoa Pl., Koko Head dead end, distance approximately 75’ Ewa direction from a point 35’ Ewa of the mauka/Koko Head corner of Lipoa Pl., 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily; to read:
“Lipoa Pl., mauka side, distance approximately 75’ Ewa direction from a point 35’ Ewa of its Koko Head terminus, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily.”
Moanalua Rd., makai side, distance 750’ Koko Head direction from a point 75’ Ewa of the Ewa curb prolongation of Kaahele St. to a point 30’ Koko Head of the Koko Head curb prolongation of Pono St.; to read:
“Moanalua Rd., makai side, from a point 130’ Ewa of the Ewa curb prolongation of Kaahele St. to Moanalua Lp., excluding portions covered under Schedule 25.”
Moanalua Rd., makai side, distance 238’ Ewa direction from the Ewa curb prolongation of Kaonohi St.; to read:
“Moanalua Rd., makai side, distance 600’ Ewa direction from the Ewa curb prolongation of Kaonohi St.”
3. By deleting therefrom the following items:
“Kaahele St., Koko Head side, distance approximately 880’ mauka direction from a point approximately 320’ makai of the makai curb prolongation of Komo Mai Dr.”
“Kaahele St., Kaena side, distance approximately 220’ mauka direction from a point 45’ makai of the makai property line of 98-456 Kaahele St. (Newtown Recreation Center driveway).”
“Moanalua Rd., makai side, distance 100’ Koko Head direction from point 110’ Koko Head of Wahiawa property line Waimalu Elementary School at 98-375 Moanalua Rd., 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. school days.”
d. By amending Schedule XXIII of Sec. 15-14.5(b) establishing prohibited loading and unloading by adding thereto the following item:
“Iwilei Rd., makai side, between Sumner and Kuwili Sts., 12:00 to 5:00 a.m. daily.”
e. By amending Schedule XXV of Sec. 15-15.3(d) establishing official bus stops by amending thereto the following item:
Diamond Head Rd., makai side, distance 150’ Koko Head direction from a point 35’ Ewa of the Ewa property line of 3165 Diamond Head Rd; to read:
“Diamond Head Rd., makai side, distance 150’ Koko Head direction from a point 700’ Koko Head of the Koko Head curb prolongation of Makalei Pl.”
Kaahele St., Ewa side, distance 150’ mauka direction from a point 142’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Lulu St.; to read:
“Kaahele St., Ewa side, distance 150’ mauka direction from a point 15’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Lulu St.”
f. By amending Schedule XXXVIII of Sec. 15-24.17 establishing miscellaneous traffic controls by adding thereto the following item:
“Moanalua Rd., Ewa bound traffic in the mauka most lane must turn right at Kaahele St.”
Section 2. This schedule is hereby attached to and made a part of Article VI hereof and shall take effect ten (10) working days after its publication.
