NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE DRAFT SAFE HARBOR
AGREEMENT FOR KAMEHAMEHA SCHOOLS, KEAHOU AND KILAUEA

The Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) Division of Forestry and Wildlife (DOFAW), State of Hawai’i, pursuant to Chapter 195D, Hawai’i Revised Statutes, will hold a public hearing to receive testimony on the Kamehameha Schools Draft Safe Harbor Agreement (SHA). The SHA is a voluntary agreement between parties that is intended to promote recovery of 8 wildlife and 25 plant endangered species.
The public is encouraged to comment on the draft SHA. The appointed Hearing Officer will be Jim Cogswell, DOFAW Wildlife Manager, or a substitution as needed to conduct the public hearing.
