Bill 239: Amends Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5, of the Hawai’i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as Amended), Relating to Parking. Adds the County parking lot between Kuakini Highway and Likana Lane, from 2 a.m. to 5 a.m., to Schedule 29 (Parking prohibited during certain hours on certain streets; tow away zone), Subsection (f), Kona. AYES: Council Members Eoff, Ilagan, Paleka, Poindexter, Wille, and Chair Kanuha – 6; NOES: None; ABSENT: Council Members Chung, David, and Onishi – 3; EXCUSED: None.

Bill 243: Amends Ordinance No. 16-72, as Amended, the Operating Budget for the County of Hawai’i for the Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 2017. Appropriates revenues in the Federal Grants – Hawai’i Criminal Justice Data Center – Overdue Disposition account ($12,000); and appropriates the same to the Hawai’i Criminal Justice Data Center – Overdue Disposition account. AYES: Council Members Chung, Eoff, Ilagan, Paleka, Poindexter, Wille, and Chair Kanuha – 7; NOES: None; ABSENT: Council Members David and Onishi – 2; EXCUSED: None.

Bill 244: Amends Ordinance No. 16-73, as Amended, Relating to Public Improvements and Financing Thereof for the Fiscal Year July 1, 2016, to June 30, 2017. Adds the Public Works Ane Keohokalole Highway – Hinalani to Kaiminani – Fair Share project for $84,256 to the Capital Budget. Funds for this project shall be provided from Fair Share Contributions ($84,256). AYES: Council Members Chung, Eoff, Ilagan, Paleka, Poindexter, Wille, and Chair Kanuha – 7; NOES: None; ABSENT: Council Members David and Onishi – 2; EXCUSED: None.
