BANYAN DRIVE HAWAII REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
PROPOSED ADOPTION OF RULES OF PRACTICE AND PROCEDURE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Banyan Drive Hawaii Redevelopment Agency will hold a public hearing on the adoption of its proposed Rules of Practice and Procedure at their meeting to be held on August 31, 2016, at 1:45pm at the Aupuni Center Conference Room (101 Pauahi Street, Suite 1, Hilo, Hawaii 96720).
Pursuant to Chapter 91-3, Hawaii Revised Statutes, the hearing will be to afford all interested persons the opportunity to submit data, views, or arguments, orally or in writing, regarding the following proposal to adopt Rules of Practice and Procedure of the Banyan Drive Hawaii Redevelopment Agency.
The proposed Rules of Practice and Procedure for the Banyan Drive Hawaii Redevelopment Agency are established pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 53, 91, 92 and 92F, Hawaii Revised Statutes and Article XIII, Hawaii County Charter. These proposed rules govern the practices and procedures of the Banyan Drive Hawaii Redevelopment Agency and set forth general rules applicable to proceedings before the Agency including general applicability, the powers and duties of the Agency, proceedings before the Agency, rulemaking procedures, request for declaratory rulings, and contested case hearings.
Copies of the rules are available for inspection online at (http://records.co.hawaii.hi.us/weblink/Browse.aspx?startid=78742&dbid=1&cr=1) and at both the Hilo (101 Pauahi Street, Hilo, HI 96720) and Kona (74-5044 Ane Keohokalole Hwy., Kailua-Kona, HI 96740) offices of the Planning Department. A copy of the proposed rules is available for mailing at no cost to any interested person who requests a copy by contacting Daryn Arai at 961-8142 or Daryn.Arai@hawaiicounty.gov. You may also contact Mr. Arai should you have any questions or require more information regarding the proposed rule, or if you require special accommodation, auxiliary aid and/or services (i.e., sign language, interpreter, large print) in order to participate in the hearing.
