HAWAIIAN OCEAN VIEW ESTATES DEEPWELL REPAIR
The Department of Water Supply is scheduled to repair the Hawaiian Ocean View Estates (HOVE) well from July 25, 2016, to approximately September 30, 2016.
Due to this scheduled repair, the following will be in effect:
The HOVE standpipes for water hauling trucks (mauka side) will close at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, 2016 and will remain closed until the repairs are completed.
The HOVE spigot station (makai side) will remain open during the duration of repairs for residential potable water needs.
In order to meet the daily water needs of all spigot users, the Department asks that each user limit their water filling to 55 gallons or less (per Hawai’i County Code 29-5(d)).
Alternate water spigot facilities are located in Wai’ohinu and Ho’okena.
The Department of Water Supply apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause, and appreciates your patience and understanding.
