The Commission will investigate whether the proposals in Young Brothers’ Application are just and reasonable. Young Brothers states that the increase is based on an intrastate rate of return of 10.25 percent and an intrastate revenue requirement of $75,019,721. Young Brothers also proposes certain other changes to its tariff.
The purpose of this public meeting is to listen to the views expressed by the general public on the Application of Young Brothers. Therefore, the Parties to this proceeding — Young Brothers and the Consumer Advocate, a division of the State of Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs — will not be permitted to testify at the public meeting.
