NOTICE TO BIDDERS

SEALED BID FOR:

Providing food service management services for Wai’alae Elementary Public Charter School’s participation in the United States Department of Agriculture’s School Nutrition Programs will be received at Wai’alae Elementary Public Charter School, 1045 19th Avenue, Honolulu, HI 96816.

Sealed bids will be received up to 4:00pm, H.S.T. on June 16, 2016. Bids received after this established date and time shall not be considered. Bid is to be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Food Service Management Bid, #2016-001.”

A pre-bid informational briefing with Food Service Management Company (FSMC) vendors is scheduled for May 26, 2016 at 2:00pm to explain and clarify any questions regarding this bid. Attendance is encouraged but not mandatory.

To be an eligible bidder, the bidder must be incorporated or licensed to do business in the State of Hawaii and must be registered with the Hawaii Child Nutrition Programs (HCNP) of the Hawaii Department of Education.

Description of work: During the term of this Contract, FSMC shall operate Wai’alae Elementary Public Charter School’s (School Food Authority – SFA) Food Service Program in conformance with SFA’s agreement with the HCNP and SFA’s Social Responsibility and Wellness Policy.

Bidders are solely responsible to review the scope and purpose of the bid to provide the Food Service Program for Wai’alae Elementary Public Charter School.
