NOTICE OF PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the State of Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources, Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation will conduct a Public Informational Meeting on the Draft Environmental Assessment for Keauhou Bay Offshore Moorings on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Kealakehe High School Cafeteria, 74-5000 Puohulihuli Street, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740.

The public informational meeting is to discuss the Draft Environmental Assessment for the proposed Keauhou Bay Offshore Moorings project.

The proposed project involves the replacement of the existing nine (9) unpermitted offshore moorings in the bay with up to 16 new permitted offshore moorings. The purpose of the meeting will be to present the proposed alternatives introduced in the Draft Environmental Assessment and allow the public to provide input and feedback on the proposed alternatives.
