Ewa, Oahu The primary functions of this position are to independently perform accounting work, provide fiscal support to the Office of Health Care Assurance (Office), analyze fiscal data, prepare routine and special reports, develop and maintain expenditure records, develop and maintain revenue records, track and account for general, federal, special, and interdepartmental fund sources, and provide fiscal management advisory services to the Office. Education Requirement: Graduation from an accredited four (4) year college or university with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Master’s degree in accounting preferred. Experience Requirement: At least two and one-half (2-1/2) years of specialized work experience in accounting, auditing, or GAAP and generally accepted government accounting standards which demonstrated possession of knowledge and ability required to analyze data, detect errors, and correct inconsistencies in accounting records. Master’s degree in accounting or master’s degree with equivalent accounting course work from an accredited college or university may substitute for one (1) year of accounting experience.
