Traffic Schedule No. 2015-11
TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (ROH), AS AMENDED, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU, HEREBY ESTABLISHES TRAFFIC SCHEDULE NO. 2015-11 TO AMEND SCHEDULE I OF SECTION 15-6.2(a) ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC SIGNALS (CITY); SCHEDULE V OF SECTION 15-7.2(b)(3) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–25 MPH; SCHEDULE XIV OF SECTION 15-11.3 ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTIONS; SCHEDULE XXII OF SECTION 15-14.5(a) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED PARKING CERTAIN AREAS; SCHEDULE XXIV of SECTION 15-15.1(d) ESTABLISHING CURB LOADING ZONES; SCHEDULE XXV OF SECTION 15-15.3(d) ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL BUS STOPS; SCHEDULE XXVI OF SECTION 15-16.1 ESTABLISHING TIME LIMIT PARKING; SCHEDULE XXX OF SECTION 15-22.1(a) ESTABLISHING PARKING METER ZONES; SCHEDULE XXXVIII OF SECTION 15-24.17 ESTABLISHING MISCELLANEOUS TRAFFIC CONTROLS.
Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:
a. By amending Schedule I of Sec. 15-6.2(a) establishing traffic signals (City) by adding thereto the following items:
“Alaneo St-N Kuakini St.”
“Lehiwa Dr (eastern intersection)-Meheula Pkwy.”
“Lehiwa Dr (western intersection)-Meheula Pkwy.”
b. By amending Schedule V of Sec. 15-7.2(b)(3) establishing speed limit–25 mph in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following items:
“Ahiki St., for its entire length.”
“Alaneo St., for its entire length.”
“Kahuhipa St., for its entire length.”
“Kamalie St., for its entire length.”
“Koliana St., for its entire length.”
“Kuaeewa Pl., for its entire length.”
“Meheula Pkwy., from the H-2 Freeway to Kapanoe St.”
2. By deleting therefrom the following item:
“Meheula Pkwy., from Mililani Interchange to its mauka turnaround area.”
c. By amending Schedule XIV of Sec. 15-11.3 establishing stop intersections in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following items:
“Kaihanupa St-Kaimalie St. Traffic on Kaihanupa St. shall stop before entering Kaimalie St.”
“Kaiikuwa St-Kaimalie St. Traffic on Kaiikuwa St. shall stop before entering Kaimalie St.”
“Kaikauhaa St-Kaimalie St. Traffic on Kaikauhaa St. shall stop before entering Kaimalie St.”
“Kaileonui St-Kaimalie St. Traffic on Kaileonui St. shall stop before entering Kaimalie St.”
“Kaimalie St-Fort Weaver Rd. Traffic on Kaimalie St. shall stop before entering Fort Weaver Rd.”
“Kaimalie St-Kapolei Parkway. Traffic on Kaimalie St. shall stop before entering Kapolei Pkwy.”
“Kaiohee St-Kaimalie St. Traffic on Kaiohee St. shall stop before entering Kaimalie St.”
“Kaiopua St-Kaimalie St. Traffic on Kaiopua St. shall stop before entering Kaimalie St.”
“Kaipuhinehu St-Kaimalie St. Traffic on Kaipuhinehu St. shall stop before entering Kaimalie St.”
“Kuaeewa Pl-Launahele St. Traffic on Kuaeewa Pl. shall stop before entering Launahele St.”
“Nonokio St-Hihimanu St. Traffic on Nonokio St. shall stop before entering Hihimanu St.”
“Oneula Pl-Pohakupuna Rd. Traffic on Oneula Pl. shall stop before entering Pohakupuna Rd.”
“Pohakupuna Rd-Fort Weaver Rd. Traffic on Pohakupuna Rd. shall stop before entering Fort Weaver Rd.”
2. By deleting therefrom the following item:
“Alaneo St-N. Kuakini St. Traffic on Alaneo St. shall stop before entering N. Kuakini St.”
d. By amending Schedule XXII of Sec. 15-14.5(a) establishing prohibited parking certain areas in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following items:
“Alaneo St., makai side, distance 99’ Koko Head direction from the Koko Head curb prolongation of N. Kuakini St.”
“Kahuhipa St., Kahuku (northern) side, between Kamehameha Hwy. and Kawa St.”
“Kime Pl., eastern side, for its entire length and including its turnaround area.”
“Koliana St., northern side, from its terminus to Kawele Pl. and including its turnaround area.”
“Komo Mai Dr., mauka side, distance 60’ Ewa direction from the Ewa curb prolongation of Nahele St.”
“Kuaeewa Pl., within its turnaround area.”
“Malina Pl., mauka (western) side, distance 85’ Kahuku direction from the Kahuku curb prolongation of Kahuhipa St.”
“Meheula Pkwy., both sides, from the H-2 Freeway to Kapanoe St.”
“Stream Dr., Koko Head side, distance 36’ mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Maui St.”
“Ukuwai St., even-numbered side, from a point 1360’ northwest of the western curb prolongation of Makaikai St. to Koolani Dr.”
“Ukuwai St., odd-numbered side, distance 530’ southeasterly direction from the eastern curb prolongation of Koolani Dr.”
2. By amending thereto the following item:
Kahuhipa St., Kailua side, distance 165’ mauka direction from mauka curb prolongation Kam Hwy.; to read:
“Kahuhipa St., Makapuu (southern) side, from the mauka curb prolongation of Kawa St. to Kamehameha Hwy.”
3. By deleting therefrom the following items:
“Meheula Pkwy., both sides, from the Mililani Interchange to and including its mauka turnaround area.”
“William Henry Rd., Makapuu side, distance 124’ makai direction from point 100’ makai of makai curb prolongation Kam Hwy.”
e. By amending Schedule XXIV of Sec. 15-15.1(d) establishing curb loading zones by amending thereto subsection (b) freight loading zone the following items:
Kahuhipa St., Makapuu side, distance 40’ mauka direction from a point 6 690’ mauka of mauka curb prolongation Alaloa St.; to read:
“Kahuhipa St., Makapuu side, distance 46’ mauka direction from a point 665’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Alaloa St., 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday except Sundays and State holidays.”
Kahuhipa St., Makapuu side, distance 72’ makai direction from a point 10’ makai of the mauka curb prolongation of Malina Pl.; to read:
“Kahuhipa St., distance 72’ makai direction from a point 10’ makai of the mauka curb prolongation of Malina Pl., 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday except Sundays and State holidays.”
f. By amending Schedule XXV of Sec. 15-15.3(d) establishing official bus stops by adding thereto the following item:
“Kuulei Rd., distance 135’ northern direction from a point 150’ north of the northern curb prolongation of Maluniu Ave.”
g. By amending Schedule XXVI of Sec. 15-16.1 establishing time limit parking by adding thereto the following items:
“Kaiolu St. (2 hrs.), both sides, between Kuhio Ave. and Ala Wai Blvd.”
“Launiu St., (2 hrs.), both sides, between Kuhio Ave. and Ala Wai Blvd.”
h. By amending Schedule XXX of Sec. 15-22.1(a) establishing parking meter zones by adding thereto the following items:
“Kaiolu St., both sides, between Kuhio Ave. and Ala Wai Blvd.”
“Launiu St., both sides, between Kuhio Ave. and Ala Wai Blvd.”
i. By amending Schedule XXXVIII of Sec. 15-24.17 establishing miscellaneous traffic controls by adding thereto the following items:
“Auiki St., Koko Head bound traffic in the mauka most lane must turn left at Libby St.”
“Libby St., makai bound traffic is prohibited to turn left into Auiki St. in the Koko Head direction.”
Section 2. This schedule is hereby attached to and made a part of Article VI hereof and shall take effect ten (10) working days after its publication.
