CHAPTER 62, ENTITLED “WASTEWATER SYSTEMS”

The Department of Health (DOH) will receive written comments and hold public hearings on proposed changes to Hawaii Administrative Rules (HAR), Chapter 11-62, Wastewater Systems. Proposed changes include prohibiting the installation of new cesspools and implementation of Act 120 which provides a temporary tax credit for upgrading qualifying cesspools to septic systems or connecting to a sewer system of qualifying cesspools.
