ORDER CONFIRMING INACTIVE STATUS

(By: Recktenwald, C.J., Nakayama, McKenna, Pollack, and Wilson, JJ.)

Upon review of the July 17, 2015 petition submitted to this court by the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of the State of Hawai’i (hereinafter, “the Board”) to transfer Respondent Richard K. Griffith to inactive status, pursuant to Rules 2.19(b) and 2.19(c) of the Rules of the Supreme Court of the State of Hawai’i (RSCH), and the September 10, 2015 submission by Respondent Griffith, we conclude Respondent Griffith is incapacitated from continuing to practice law.
Therefore,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that Respondent Griffith’s inactive status is confirmed for an indefinite period and until further order of the supreme court, including upon an application to this court for reinstatement, made by the Respondent pursuant
to RSCH Rule 2.19(f).
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Office of Disciplinary Counsel shall administer the pending disciplinary proceedings against Respondent Griffith pursuant to RSCH Rule 2.19(h).
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the clerk of the court shall classify this order as a public document, pursuant to RSCH Rule 2.22(f).
IT IS FINALLY ORDERED that the Board shall publicize this order as required by RSCH Rules 2.19(d) and (e), and submit to this court any further motions it deems appropriate pursuant to RSCH Rule 2.20.
