PUBLIC NOTICE
(Docket No. 15-CA-PA-37)
The Department of Health, State of Hawaii (DOH), is notifying all interested persons of the proposed settlement between the DOH and Puna Geothermal Venture (PGV). The DOH issued a Notice and Finding of Violation and Order (NOVO) in Docket No. 14-CA-EO-11, alleging that PGV violated state air pollution laws, Hawaii Revised Statues §342B-11, Hawaii Administrative Rules §11-60.1-2, and Noncovered Source Permit No. 0008-02-N by failing to meet various operational and reporting requirements.
A Consent Order (CO) has been drafted that proposes to settle this case. The proposed CO and NOVO is available for public review during regular office hours, Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., at the following locations:
