Traffic Schedule No. 2015-10
TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (ROH), AS AMENDED, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU, HEREBY ESTABLISHES TRAFFIC SCHEDULE NO. 2015-10 TO AMEND SCHEDULE V OF SECTION 15-7.2(b)(3) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–25 MPH; SCHEDULE XI OF SECTION 15-8.3 (b) ESTABLISHING NO TURN; SCHEDULE XIV OF SECTION 15-11.3 ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTIONS; SCHEDULE XXII OF SECTION 15-14.5(a) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED PARKING CERTAIN AREAS; SCHEDULE XXV OF SECTION 15-15.3(d) ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL BUS STOPS.
Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:
a. By amending Schedule V of Sec. 15-7.2(b)(3) establishing speed limit–25 mph by adding thereto the following items:
“Hahaione St., for its entire length.”
“Kapanoe St., for its entire length (city owned portion).”
b. By amending Schedule XI of Sec.15-8.3(b) establishing no turn by adding thereto the following item:
“Kaaholo St., no left turn from Kaaholo St. into the entrance driveway of Kaleiopuu Elementary School, 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., school days only.”
c. By amending Schedule XIV of Sec. 15-11.3 establishing stop intersections by adding thereto the following items:
“Hainole Pl-Kapanoe St. Traffic on Hainole Pl. shall stop before entering Kapanoe St.”
“Halepahu St-Kapanoe St. Traffic on Halepahu St. shall stop before entering Kapanoe St.”
“Halepakui St-Kapanoe St. Traffic on Halepakui St. shall stop before entering Kapanoe St.”
“Haulelau St-Kapanoe St. Traffic on Haulelau St. shall stop before entering Kapanoe St.”
“Hehina St-Kapanoe St. Traffic on Hehina St. shall stop before entering Kapanoe St.”
“Hilihua Wy-Hilihua Pl. Traffic on Hilihua Wy. shall stop before entering Hilihua Pl.”
“Kapanoe St-Meheula Pkwy. Traffic on Kapanoe St. shall stop before entering Meheula Pkwy.”
“Keni St-Kapanoe St. Traffic on Keni St. shall stop before entering Kapanoe St.”
“Meheula Pkwy-Kapanoe St. Traffic on Meheula Pkwy. shall stop before entering Kapanoe St.”
d. By amending Schedule XXII of Sec. 15-14.5(a) establishing prohibited parking certain areas in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following items:
“Hilihua Wy., northern side, from point 230’ west of the western curb prolongation of Hilihua Pl. to its terminus.”
“Hilihua Wy., southern side, from its terminus to a point 270’ west of the western curb prolongation of Hilihua Pl.”
“Kapanoe St., both sides, for its entire length (city owned portion) including its eastern turnaround area.”
“Old Mahinui Rd., both sides, for its entire length.”
2. By amending thereto the following items:
Aloha Dr., makai side, distance 115’ Ewa direction from Ewa curb prolongation of Seaside Ave.; to read:
“Aloha Dr., makai side, distance 162’ Ewa direction from the Ewa curb prolongation of Seaside Ave.”
Kaimuki Ave., makai side, distance 50’ Ewa direction from the Ewa curb prolongation of 6th Ave.; to read:
“Kaimuki Ave., makai side, distance 180’ Ewa direction from the Ewa curb
prolongation of 6th Ave.”
e. By amending Schedule XXV of Sec. 15-15.3(d) establishing official bus stops by amending thereto the following item:
Keaunui Dr., Waianae side, distance 175’ makai direction from a point 12’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Laupai St.; to read:
“Keaunui Dr., Waianae side, distance 140’ makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of Laupai St.”
Section 2. This schedule is hereby attached to and made a part of Article VI hereof and shall take effect ten (10) working days after its publication.
