Notice is hereby given that the Council of the County of Kaua’i will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at 1:30 p.m., or soon thereafter, at the Council Chambers, 4396 Rice Street, Suite 201, Historic County Building, Lihu’e, on the following:

Bill No. 2597
A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. B-2015-796, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE OPERATING BUDGET OF THE COUNTY OF KAUA’I, STATE OF HAWAI’I, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2015 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2016, BY REVISING THE AMOUNTS ESTIMATED IN THE HIGHWAY FUND (Puhi Road 20% County Match (Operating Budget) – $268,000.00)

The purpose of this Bill is to transfer $268,000.00 from the Roads Administration / Other Services (Island Wide Resurfacing) account to the Equity / Transfer Out – Highway Fund CIP account to appropriate the necessary funding required for the County’s 20% match for the Puhi Road construction project.

A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. B-2015-797, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE CAPITAL BUDGET OF THE COUNTY OF KAUA’I, STATE OF HAWAI’I, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2015 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2016, BY REVISING THE AMOUNTS ESTIMATED IN THE HIGHWAY FUND CIP (Puhi Road 20% County Match (CIP Budget) – $268,000.00)

This Bill proposes to amend Ordinance No. B-2015-797, as amended, by revising the amounts estimated in the Highway Fund CIP to appropriate funds to provide the required 20% County Match for the Puhi Road construction project.

All interested persons who wish to present their comments may do so at the public hearing. Written testimony prior to the hearing would be appreciated. Written testimony can be submitted to the Office of the County Clerk, Council Services Division by mail, facsimile, or via E-mail to counciltestimony@kauai.gov. Copies of the proposed Bills are available at the Office of the County Clerk, Council Services Division.

(The Council’s Committee or Council may amend these Bills at its subsequent meetings. Meeting notices are posted at least 6 days in advance at the County Clerk’s Office and the public may also testify at any of these meetings.)
