PUBLIC NOTICE
(Docket No. 15-CA-PA-35)
The Department of Health, State of Hawaii, is notifying all interested persons of the proposed settlement between the Department of Health and Kauai Humane Society. The Department of Health has issued a Notice and Finding of Violation and Order (NOVO), in Docket No. 13-CA-EO-12, alleging that Kauai Humane Society violated state air pollution laws, HRS §342B-11, HAR §11-60.1-2, on June 18, 2013, by non-submittal of semi-annual monitoring reports.
A Consent Order (CO) has been drafted that proposes to settle this case. The proposed CO and NOVO is available for public review during regular office hours, Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., at the following locations:
Oahu: Clean Air Branch, Department of Health
919 Ala Moana Boulevard, Room 203, Honolulu
Kauai: Kauai District Health Office, Department of Health
3040 Umi Street, Lihue
