The following Ordinance was returned vetoed by the Mayor and upon reconsideration by the Council of the City and County of Honolulu at a meeting held on September 2, 2015 passed Final Reading, the Mayor’s veto to the contrary notwithstanding; therefore, pursuant to the City Charter became a duly enacted ordinance:
Ordinance 15-40 [Bill 44 (2015), FD1] – Relating to public pedestrian malls in the Downtown and Chinatown areas.
AYES: Councilmembers Anderson, Fukunaga, Kobayashi, Manahan, Martin, Menor, Ozawa – 7.
NOES: Councilmembers Elefante, Pine – 2.
Effective: September 2, 2015
