Traffic Schedule No. 2015-8
TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (ROH), AS AMENDED, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU, HEREBY ESTABLISHES TRAFFIC SCHEDULE NO. 2015-8 TO AMEND SCHEDULE IV OF SECTION 15-7.2(a)(2) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–15 MPH; SCHEDULE V OF SECTION 15-7.2(b)(3) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–25 MPH; SCHEDULE XIII OF SECTION 15-11.2(c) ESTABLISHING YIELD RIGHT-OF-WAY; SCHEDULE XIV OF SECTION 15-11.3 ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTIONS; SCHEDULE XVI OF SECTION 15-13.4(a) ESTABLISHING RESERVED PARKING STALLS; SCHEDULE XXII OF SECTION 15-14.5(a) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED PARKING CERTAIN AREAS; SCHEDULE XXIV OF SECTION 15-15.1(d) ESTABLISHING CURB LOADING ZONES; SCHEDULE XXV OF SECTION 15-15.3(d) ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL BUS STOPS; SCHEDULE XXVI OF SECTION 15-16.1 ESTABLISHING TIME LIMIT PARKING; SCHEDULE XXXVIII OF SECTION 15-24.17 ESTABLISHING MISCELLANEOUS TRAFFIC CONTROLS.
Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:
a. By amending Schedule IV of Sec. 15-7.2(a)(2) establishing speed limit–15 mph by adding thereto the following item:
“Uluwehi St., for its entire length.”
b. By amending Schedule V of Sec. 15-7.2(b)(3) establishing speed limit–25 mph by adding thereto the following item:
“Makaiwa St., for its entire length.”
c. By amending Schedule XIII of Sec. 15-11.2(c) by adding thereto the following items:
“Kaonohi St-Moanalua Lp. Traffic on Kaonohi St. making a right turn from the channelized lanes into Moanalua Lp. shall yield the right-of-way on Moanalua Lp.”
“Moanalua Lp-Kaonohi St. Traffic on Moanalua Lp. making a right turn from the channelized lane into Kaonohi St. shall yield the right-of-way on Kaonohi St.”
d. By amending Schedule XIV of Sec. 15-11.3 establishing stop intersections in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following items:
“Maalo St-Kamehameha Hwy. Traffic on Maalo St. shall stop before entering Kamehameha Hwy.”
“Uluwehi St-California Ave. Traffic on Uluwehi St. shall stop before entering California Ave.”
2. By deleting therefrom the following item:
“Hoomalu St-Hoolaulea St. Traffic on Hoomalu St. shall stop before entering Hoolaulea St.”
e. By amending Schedule XVI of Sec. 15-13.4(a) establishing reserved parking stalls by adding thereto the following item:
“Queen Emma Square, Ewa bound, in the inside portion of the entire length for authorized Honolulu Police vehicles only, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday except Saturdays, Sundays and State Holidays.”
f. By amending Schedule XXII of Sec. 15-14.5(a) establishing prohibited parking certain areas in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following item:
“Anania Dr., western side, distance 85’ northerly direction from the northern curb prolongation of Kiaha Lp. (southern intersection).”
2. By deleting therefrom the following item:
“Queen Emma Square, on outside portion for entire length and on Ewa side of inside portion of Queen Emma Square.”
g. By amending Schedule XXIV of Sec. 15-15.1(d) establishing curb loading zones in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto subsection (b) freight loading zone the following item:
“N. King St., mauka side, distance 23’ Koko Head direction from a point 150’ Koko Head of the Koko Head curb prolongation of Peterson Ln., 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday except Sundays and State Holidays.”
2. By deleting therefrom subsection (a) passenger loading zone the following items:
“N. King St., mauka side, distance 20’ Koko Head direction from a point 137’ Koko Head of the Koko Head curb prolongation of Peterson Ln.”
“Queen Emma Square, makai side, distance 47’ Koko Head direction from a point 204’ Koko Head of the Koko Head curb prolongation of the mauka intersection of Queen Emma St.”
h. By amending Schedule XXV of Sec. 15-15.3(d) establishing official bus stops by amending thereto the following item:
Palolo Ave., Koko Head side, distance 150’ makai direction from a point 44’ mauka of the mauka property line of 1541 Palolo Ave.; to read:
“Palolo Ave., Koko Head side, distance 150’ mauka direction from a point 14’ makai of the makai curb prolongation of Lamaloa Pl.”
i. By amending Schedule XXVI of Sec. 15-16.1 establishing time limit parking by deleting therefrom the following item:
“Queen Emma Square.”
j. By amending Schedule XXXVIII of Sec. 15-24.17 establishing miscellaneous traffic controls by adding thereto the following items:
“Hoomalu St., mauka bound traffic in the Koko Head most lane must turn right at Moanalua Rd.
“Puu Poni St., Ewa bound traffic in the mauka most lane must turn right at Hoomalu St.”
Section 2. This schedule is hereby attached to and made a part of Article VI hereof and shall take effect ten (10) working days after its publication.
