AFFECTED AREA: CONSUMERS ALONG PAHOA VILLAGE ROAD, BETWEEN POST OFFICE ROAD AND THE PAHOA-KALAPANA ROAD INTERSECTION, INCLUDING KAUHALE STREET, KU’UHOME STREET, KEKAUONOHI STREET, AKEAKAMAI LOOP, HOMESTEAD ROAD, AND ALL SIDE ROADS AND LANES, PAHOA, PUNA, HAWAI’I
The Department of Water Supply will be conducting a fire hydrant flow test on a hydrant along Kauhale Street, between the Pahoa Neighborhood Facility and Pahoa Village Road on Tuesday, August 18, 2015, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
The affected area may experience slight discolored and turbid water for several hours after the test. Customers are advised to refrain from washing clothes and to store a container of water for their drinking needs until the supply of water is restored to normal.
