NOTICE TO BIDDERS
(Chapter 103D, HRS)
Sealed bids for MATERIAL BID NO. 2015-07, SALE OF USED VEHICLES, EQUIPMENT, PUMPS, MOTORS, BACKFLOW PREVENTERS, REBARS, TRANSFORMERS, SCRAP COPPER, AND SCRAP BRASS FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF WATER SUPPLY, County of Hawai’i, State of Hawai’i, will be received by the Department of Water Supply, County of Hawai’i, at:
1) 345 Kekuanao’a Street, Suite 20, Hilo, Hawai’i, OR
2) Office of the Mayor, West Hawai’i Civic Center,
75-5044 Ane Keohokalole Highway, Building C, 2nd Floor, Kailua-Kona, Hawai’i, until September 10, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. when they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the time fixed for opening or delivered elsewhere other than specified herein will not be considered.
One (1) compact disc containing the OFFICIAL specifications, instructions, and terms and conditions may be obtained at the Office of the Manager-Chief Engineer, Suite 20, 345 Kekuanao’a Street, Hilo, Hawai’i 96720 at no charge to the company. Any additional compact discs will be provided upon receipt of TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($25.00) per compact disc, in cash or in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check, or company check, made payable to the Department of Water Supply, which is non-refundable. The Department of Water Supply will, at the request of the bidder, forward by mail any plans, specifications and forms in electronic format. The Department will not assume responsibility for the timely delivery and receipt of the bidding documents by the prospective bidder(s).

The bid opening and pre-bid meeting(s) required for this project (if any, as set forth above) are scheduled at venues that are accessible to persons with disabilities. The Department of Water Supply reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, and to waive informalities.
