DEADLINE EXTENDED FOR APPLYING FOR
JUDICIAL VACANCY

The Judicial Selection Commission is extending the deadline for applying for the judicial vacancy in the office of Circuit Judge, Circuit Court of the Third Circuit (island of Hawai’i). The Constitution of the State of Hawai’i requires that the persons selected by the Commission be residents and citizens of the State of Hawai’i and of the United States, and have been licensed to practice law by the Hawai’i Supreme Court. A judge of the circuit court shall have been licensed for a period of not less than ten years preceding nomination. The Commission invites anyone who meets the constitutional requirements to apply directly to the Commission. TO APPLY: Visit the Commission’s website to review the application instructions and fill out the Application for Judicial Office Form, form JS-P-084. The application must be post-marked or delivered on or before September 4, 2015 to:
