PUBLIC NOTICE

DISPOSAL OF VESSEL, pursuant to Chapter 200, Hawaii Revised Statutes, Notice is hereby given that the vessel in storage at the Puhi Metals Recycling Center, Puhi, Kaua’i, Hawaii will be disposed of in accordance with this Chapter for the disposition of derelict vessels.

The 16’ Vessel was located on Ananalu Road, Wainiha, Kaua’i Hawaii. The County of Kaua’i, Police Department posted a notice of abandonment on said vessel on June 23, 2015 under Police Report Number 15-06744. If the vessel is not reclaimed by the owner, lien holder or operator within twenty days after the date of this public notice, the vessel will be disposed.

The owner, lien holder or operator of the vessel shall have ten days after the date of this public notice to request in writing an administrative hearing. The administrative hearing is solely for the purpose of allowing the owner, lien holder, or operator of the vessel to contest the basis given for the impoundment.
