NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of a public hearing to be held by the Department of Planning and Permitting of the City and County of Honolulu under Special Management Area Ordinance, Chapter 25, Revised Ordinances of Honolulu (“ROH”), as amended, and under the Shoreline Setback Ordinance, Chapter 23, ROH, as amended, for the following application at the date and the time specified or soon thereafter:

PROPOSAL: Revised mixed use development planned for a portion of Ocean Point – Hoakalei (formally known as the Ewa Marina Community Development) on the southwest end of Oahu. The Shoreline Setback Variance (SV) is for development of portions of a proposed pathway, pavilions, gazebos or covered shelters, and raised observation areas, as well as grubbing, grading and landscaping and other improvements within the 60-foot shoreline setback area.

Maps showing the general location and boundaries of the area under consideration are on file at the Department of Planning and Permitting, Permit and Zoning Records Access, First Floor, Frank F. Fasi Municipal Building, 650 South King Street, and are available to the public for inspection during office hours, 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. All interested persons are invited to attend. Those persons desiring to testify may register prior to the public hearing at the public hearing site and are encouraged to submit one copy of their testimony in writing.
Attendance at the public hearing is not necessary to submit testimony. Written testimony may be faxed (768-6743) or mailed (650 South King Street, 7th Floor, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813) to the department prior to the hearing and will be considered in the evaluation of the request.
