CATHERINE P. AWAKUNI COLÓN, as Director of the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, State of Hawai`i, Plaintiff v. DAN FOX, HAWAII ESTATE SERVICES, INC., and DOES 1-1000, Defendants.
Notice is hereby given that the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs has filed an interpleader complaint in regards to a $25,000 cash bond (“bond”) provided by DAN FOX and HAWAII ESTATE SERVICES, INC. (“HESI”), as was required by law, for the purpose of protecting any member of HESI’s prepaid legal plan.
Interested persons who may possess a claim against said bond are instructed to file their claim or other pleading with the circuit court in the above referenced case on or before July 20, 2015. Copies of said claim or other pleading shall also be served upon the Hawaii State Department of the Attorney General, Attn: Daniel K. Jacob, attorney for plaintiff, whose address is 425 Queen Street, Honolulu, Hawai`i 96813, and the Law Office of William L. Shipley, attorney for defendant Fox and HESI, whose address is 841 Bishop Street, Suite 2201, Honolulu, Hawai`i 96813.
Failure to submit a claim or other pleading before July 20, 2015 shall result in a bar of recovery against said bond.
