NOTICE OF JUDICIAL VACANCY

The Judicial Selection Commission is accepting applications and nominations for the judicial vacancy in the office of Circuit Judge, Circuit Court of the Third Circuit (island of Hawai’i). The Constitution of the State of Hawai’i requires that the persons selected by the Commission be residents and citizens of the State of Hawai’i and of the United States, and have been licensed to practice law by the Hawai’i Supreme Court. A judge of the circuit court shall have been licensed for a period of not less than ten years preceding nomination. The Commission invites anyone who meets the constitutional requirements to apply directly to the Commission. The Commission also invites persons to nominate qualified individuals for the position. Applicants are not required to nominate themselves. Nominators: Mail your nomination to the address below with the nominee’s mailing address as soon as possible and not later than June 8, 2015.
