NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the following matters to be considered by the Windward Planning Commission of the County of Hawaii in accordance with the provisions of Chapters 91 and 92, Hawaii Revised Statutes, Section 6-7.5(a) of the Charter of the County of Hawaii, and the Planning Commission’s Rules of Practice and Procedure.

Application for a Use Permit to allow the establishment of a 5-bedroom bed and breakfast operation within an existing single-family dwelling on 22,500 square feet of land situated within the County’s Single-Family Residential-10,000 square foot (RS-10) zoning district. The property is located at 665 Hinano Street, approximately 200 feet north of the Hinano Street and Leilani Street intersection, Waiakea Houselots 1st Series, South Hilo, Hawaii, TMK:

2. APPLICANTS: HARRY AND SANDRA FREITAS (REZ 14-185)
Continued hearing on an application for a Change of Zone from an Agricultural- 20 acres (A-20a) to an Agricultural-5 acres (A-5a) zoning district for 50 acres of land. The property is located at 18-4233 North Pszyk Road, Olaa Reservation Lots, Puna, Hawaii, TMK: 1-8-005:133.
The Commission anticipates convening an executive meeting regarding Item No. 2 above, pursuant to Section 92-5(a)(4), Hawaii Revised Statutes, for the purpose of consulting with the Commission’s attorney on questions and issues pertaining to the Commission’s powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities. A 2/3 vote pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes, Section 92-4 and Planning Commission Rule 1-5(e) is necessary to hold an executive meeting.
