PUBLIC AUCTION OF UNCLAIMED AND ABANDONED VESSEL
Notice is hereby given that the following listed Vessel, after being towed and unclaimed pursuant to Chapter 200-41, Hawaii Revised Statutes, will be either sold by auction as is, disposed of, sold as junk, or will be donated to a governmental agency at the scheduled hour of auction. There will be a minimum bid of Fifty dollars ($50.00). The vessel may be inspected within 5 calendar days prior to the day of auction by appointment with the tow company. The vessel will be sold as is and where is by online internet bidding using the City’s Vendor Self Service system (VSS). Online bidding for law enforcement towed vessel will begin on MARCH 30, 2015, 9:00 am, TRAILER NOT INCLUDED IN SALE.

The awarded buyer shall pay to the City and County of Honolulu their highest bid price for the vessel incurred at the close of the online bidding. Failure to pay all expenses will be cause for disqualification, penalty and suspension from participating in the online auctions. Payment, in the exact amount, shall be by cash, certified check, money order, or cashier’s check from a local bank, credit union or financial institution, made payable to CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU and preprinted by the issuing institution. Awarded buyers must make payment at Budget and Fiscal Services Purchasing Division, Room 115, 530 South King Street (City Hall) the day after the online auction closes. Payments shall be received no later than 2:00 pm. The awarded buyer shall pay all towing, storage, and any other expenses to the tow contractor when claiming the auctioned vessel.
