PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of a public hearing to be held by the Department of Planning and Permitting of the City and County of Honolulu under Special Management Area Ordinance, Chapter 25, Revised Ordinances of Honolulu, as amended, and the Shoreline Setback Ordinance, Chapter 23, Revised Ordinances of Honolulu, as amended, for the following application at the date and the time specified or soon thereafter:

PROPOSAL: A SMA for the construction of a new 16,500-square-foot main residence, a 6,690-square-foot staff/guest residence, a 3,820- square-foot garage/mechanical building and accessory structures; and a SSV for the construction of a new concrete/rubble revetment along the entire 120-foot-long shoreline, concrete masonry unit (CMU) perimeter (side) walls, a stone walkway with two 200- square-foot viewing areas and steel cable fencing within the 40- foot shoreline setback area.

All interested persons are invited to attend. Those persons desiring to testify may register prior to the public hearing at the public hearing site and are encouraged to submit one copy of their testimony in writing.
Attendance at the public hearing is not necessary to submit testimony. Written testimony may be faxed (768-6743) or mailed (650 South King Street, 7th Floor, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813) to the department prior to the hearing and will be considered in the evaluation of the request.
