Applicant/Landowner: D. R. Horton-Schuler Homes, LLC
Location: East Kapolei, Ewa, Oahu
Tax Map Keys: 9-1-017:004 (por.), 059 (por.) and 072 (por.),
9-1-018:001 (por.) and 004 (por.)
Existing Use: The area to be rezoned consists of various existing diversified agricultural operations and vacant land. The rail transit project is being constructed through the project site.
Existing Zoning: AG-1 Restricted Agricultural District
Total Land Area: Approximately 1,553 acres
Land Area To Be Rezoned: Approximately 1,289 acres
Request: Change zoning from the AG-1 Restricted Agricultural District to Various Districts
The proposed zone change request is available for viewing at the Department of Planning and Permitting or online at www.honoluludpp.org/Planning/ZoneChanges.aspx. Public testimony is to be taken at the hearing. Fifteen (15) copies of written testimony should be filed with the Planning Commission at least forty-eight (48) hours before the date of the public hearing. Attendance at the public hearing is not necessary to submit written testimony. One copy may be faxed (768-6743) or mailed (Planning Commission, 650 South King Street, 7th Floor, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813). All interested persons are invited to attend. Those persons desiring to testify may register prior to the public hearing at the public hearing site.
