NOTICE OF ANTICIPATED JUDICIAL VACANCY

The Judicial Selection Commission is accepting applications and nominations for the anticipated judicial vacancy in the office of District Family Judge, Family Court of the First Circuit (island of O`ahu). The Constitution of the State of Hawai’i requires that the persons selected by the Commission be residents and citizens of the State of Hawai’i and of the United States, and have been licensed to practice law by the Hawai’i Supreme Court. A judge of the district court shall have been licensed for a period of not less than five years preceding nomination. The Commission invites anyone who meets the constitutional requirements to apply directly to the Commission. The Commission also invites persons to nominate qualified individuals for the position. Nominators: Mail your nomination to the address below with the nominee’s mailing address as soon as possible and not later than December 11, 2014.
