NOTICE OF CONSULTATION MEETINGS
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG),
HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIPS (HOME),
EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS GRANTS (ESG) AND
HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONS WITH AIDS (HOPWA) PROGRAMS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that consultation meetings will be held by the City and County of Honolulu (City) for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG), and Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) Programs. The meetings will provide interested persons with the opportunity to participate in the development of the housing and community needs for the City’s Consolidated Plan (CP) for program years 2016-2020. The CP is a collaborative process whereby a community establishes a unified vision for community development actions. The City’s CP will be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) establishing the priority areas and types of projects that may be funded through the CDBG, HOME, ESG and HOPWA Programs in program years 2016-2020. A copy of the City’s current Consolidated Plan for program years 2006-2010 is available for viewing on the City’s website at http://www.honolulu.gov/rep/site/bfs/bfs_docs/consoplan20112015.pdf.
