LEEWARD PLANNING COMMISSION
COUNTY OF HAWAI’I

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the following matters to be considered by the Leeward Planning Commission of the County of Hawai’i in accordance with the provisions of Chapters 91 and 92, Hawai’i Revised Statutes, Section 6-7.5(a) of the Charter of the County of Hawai’i, and the Commission’s Rules of Practice and Procedure.

NEW BUSINESS – 9:30 a.m.
1. APPLICANT: ONE PUAKO BAY ASSOCIATES, LLC. (SMA 14-057)
Application for a Special Management Area (SMA) Use Permit to allow for the development of a 7-lot single family residential subdivision and related improvements on approximately 6.92-acres of land situated within the SMA and located on the makai side of Puako Beach Drive, adjacent to and west (Kona side) of the Puako Boat Ramp in Lalamilo, South Kohala, Hawai’i, TMK: 6-9-002: 001, 002 & 030.
2. APPLICANT: SCV POOLS, SPAS, MASONRY INC. on behalf of Jimmy Rex Robinson (SSV 14-09)
Application for a Shoreline Setback Variance to allow the construction of a salt- water swimming pool, spa, concrete deck and 4-foot high pool security fence within the 20-foot shoreline setback area. The property is situated along the south (makai) side of the Kona Bay Estates private subdivision road, Kona Bay Estates Subdivision, Kailua-Kona, Hawai’i, TMK: (3) 7-5-005:024.
The purpose of the public hearing is to afford all interested persons a reasonable opportunity to be heard on the above matter.
