PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT FOR
ACCEPTANCE OF NOISE EXPOSURE MAPS

Pursuant to Sections 107(a) & (b) [Title 49 United States Code, 47506] of the Airport Safety and Noise Abatement Act of 1979, as amended, notice is hereby given that on May 31, 2013, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) completed its evaluation of, and has formally accepted the Noise Exposure Maps (NEM) for the Hilo International Airport, located in Hilo, Hawaii, that were prepared pursuant to Title 14, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 150 (14 CFR Part 150). These maps and supporting documentation are available for public review during normal business hours, at the offices of the State of Hawaii, Department of Transportation, Airports Division, 400 Rodgers Blvd., Suite 700, Honolulu, Hawaii 96819-1880; and at the Hilo International Airport, 2450 Kekuanaoa Street, Hilo, Hawaii, 96720.
