NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of public hearings to be held by the Hawaii Community Development Authority (“HCDA”), State of Hawaii, under the provisions of §206E-5.6, Hawaii Revised Statutes (“HRS”):

or as soon thereafter as those interested may be heard to consider the following item:
Public hearings to review the permit application. The HCDA is holding separate public hearings in accordance with §206E-5.6, HRS, to review the development permit application.
At the May 1, 2013 public hearing before the Authority, the applicant presented its project and the general public was given an opportunity to present oral and/or written testimony. The Authority determined that the public hearing scheduled for June 5, 2013 will be a continuation of the May 1, 2013 public hearing to provide the general public with an additional opportunity to present oral and/or written testimony. Accordingly, the previously scheduled June 5, 2013 decision-making public hearing will be rescheduled to July 3, 2013. The nature of the July 3, 2013 public hearing is to accept additional oral and/or written testimony from the general public on the above-listed development permit application prior to decision-making by the Authority. Any applicant whose application is subject to this notice may either retain counsel or appear on his/her own behalf or send an authorized representative if the applicant is a partnership, corporation, trust, or association.

Copies of the development permit application are available for inspection during regular business hours at the office of the HCDA, 461 Cooke Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813, or will be mailed to anyone who requests a copy after payment has been made for copying and postage costs. To request a copy of the development permit application or submit written comments or testimony, please contact the HCDA on or before the date of the public hearing. Persons who intend to present oral testimony on any of the above-listed application for development permit shall sign-up at the beginning of each public hearing. Persons who intend to submit written testimony shall submit 30 copies of their statements on or before the date of the public hearing. Pursuant to §15-219-28, HAR, public comment or testimony may be limited to three minutes per speaker and speakers may be subject to questioning by the members of the Authority or by any other representative of the Authority.
